If a meeting participant is experiencing an echo it is likely related to the speaker's external speaker volume being turned up too high. Here are the steps you can take to fix this.
Mac users:
Go to System Preferences
Click on "Sound"
Select the "Output" tab and look at the Output volume at the bottom of the screen.
4. If the Volume is maxed out this is likely causing an echo. Start by turning the volume down to about 70% and see if this fixes the issue.
Note: If the echo persists, the speaker may need to turn down the output volume even further. For meetings with multiple speakers, everyone should check their output volume if the echo does not resolve.
