Install the Vowel app to get the Vowel icon on your desktop for easy access.

The Vowel desktop app is Progressive Web App, which relies on a a web browser to run the app. You can install by clicking on the "Install" button in the banner on your home page. (image below). If you do not see the banner, make sure you're in a browser that supports Progressive Web Apps (we recommend Chrome or Edge) and wait on the page for up to 2 minutes.

Alternatively, you can download from the browser controls itself. The placement of these controls varies by browser.

For Chrome, in the URL bar you will see the following download icon:
